No more dress stress. I'll take it from here.
Toni Oakes is a veteran seamstress of more than 40 years and does it all in her home-based studio. Here, Toni works with her clients to architect each new garment by defining its form and function first. Then she selects the right materials, sewing techniques, level of workmanship and construction. This precise sequence of steps will ultimately ensure that the finished garment fits perfectly and functions as intended.
While her experience is broad, ranging from bridal and couture to debutantes and a basic hem, she especially loves helping her brides look stunning on their special day. Her exquisite custom-made veils and accessories complete the attire for every bride. Toni’s satisfaction comes in getting the job done right every time.
Toni began sewing at an early age with the Arapahoe County 4-H Club, and later obtained a Home Economist degree with a major in Textiles and Clothing from Colorado State University. This degree gave her the education to start her passion in custom sewing. Becoming a member of ASDP (the national Association of Sewing and Design Professionals) allows her to gain continuing education and has challenged her through the association of fellow colleagues. Toni welcomes new clients and looks forward to serving them with their sewing needs.
